You can easily stream FXNOW content from your personal device to the big screen of your TV using Chromecast or AirPlay.
Please select your streaming solution and follow the recommended steps:
Chromecast
Chromecast is currently supported on Apple iPhone, iPod, iPad, and Android phone and tablet devices.
Please follow these steps to start using Chromecast:
- Connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast
- Open the FXNOW app and tap the content you want to watch
- Tap the title card of the movie or show you want to watch to play the title
- Tap the Chromecast icon at the top right of the player window
- Select your preferred streaming device
What to look for: When you’re connected, the Chromecast icon will change color, and the FXNOW movie, show, or series will appear on your TV.
Chromecast troubleshooting
If you’re still having trouble casting, try these troubleshooting tips:
- Verify the Google Home app is installed on your mobile device
- Available at the iTunes Store and Google Play Store
- Make sure the Chromecast device is connected to your TV
- Make sure the Chromecast device and your streaming device are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network
- We recommend the latest device model and software for the best viewing experience
AirPlay
AirPlay is currently supported on Apple iPhone, iPod, and iPad, and Safari web browser for Mac.
Please follow these steps to start using AirPlay:
- Connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible smart TV
- Open the FXNOW app on your iPhone, iPod, or iPad and select the content you want to watch
- If you’re using the Safari web browser for Mac, open fxnow.fxnetworks.com
- Select the title card of the movie or show you want to watch
- Select the AirPlay icon at the top right of the player window
- The AirPlay icon is located on the top right of your Mac’s menu bar
- Choose your preferred Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible smart TV
What to look for: When you’re connected, the Airplay icon will change color, and the FXNOW movie, show, or series will appear on your TV.
AirPlay troubleshooting
